Abstract (EN)
School security is one of the most important issues for developed and developing countries. The aim of this study is to examine national and international scientific studies on school safety. The research was conducted in 2018-2019. The research was conducted in accordance with the document analysis method which is one of the qualitative research methods. The research was designed in a screening model. Content analysis was used to examine the sources reached and selected in the context of the research. The main findings of the research; to raise awareness about the continuity and protection of the healthy development of the individual in the school environment, to eliminate the elements of violence that threaten the individual and the environment in the school environment, to eliminate the elements of violence that can be revealed by the stakeholders in the school environment, gender discrimination, sexual assault and harassment, peer bullying to eliminate the types of violence against children, to secure the school building, the school yard and daily living spaces, and to eliminate the threat elements by ensuring the students' travel between home and school.
