The relationship between shared leadership aproach of school principals and organizational sustainability in schools

In the study, the personal information form used to determine demographic characteristics, the "Shared Leadership Perception Scale" to determine the attitude levels of school principals about shared leadership, and the "Organizational Sustainability Scale" to reveal the organizational sustainability applied in schools were used as data sources in the study.In the study, the personal information form used to determine the demographic characteristics was used as the data source, and the SPSS program developed for social sciences was used to analyze the study.While analyzing descriptive statistics, frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation were used.T test and F test were used to determine the difference between variables. While the majority of the teachers participating in the study are female teachers, the teachers working in secondary schools and branch teachers are in the majority. In addition, most of the teachers who make up the sample of the research are between the ages of 31-40, married and have a bachelor's degree. The majority of the sample consisted of teachers whose seniority was between 11-15 and 16-20 years, while teachers with a working year of 9 years and above in their school. In the research, a high level of statistically positive correlation was found between the shared leadership perception of teachers working in primary schools and their organizational sustainability levels. In addition, as a result of the regression analysis, the independent variable of shared leadership explains 47.2% of the total variance in the perception of organizational continuity dependent variable. From this point of view, the fact that school principals work in a collaborative, supportive, interactive and sharing leadership understanding will have a positive effect on the development of organizational sustainability in schools.
