Abstract (EN)
In this research, Prosocial Behaviours and Styles of Competition for Children in Pre-school Period observation is aimed. The scope of the research is composed of group of children who study in official pre-school and kindergartens which affiliated to the Ministry of National Education located in the Çankırı province. The sampling of the research consists of 314 children age 5-6 that are chosen between these Pre-schools by Random Sampling Process. "Personal Data Form", "Children Prosocial Scale" developed by Bağcı & Öztürk Samur (2015) and "Pre-school Competition Scale" developed by Uyanık Balat, Akman, Arslan Çiftçi (2017) applications were used to collect the research data. As the data reflect normal distribution, t- Test, ANOVA and Pearson Correlation Test are applied during the analysis of the data. The observation at the end of the research shows that, while Posocial Beahviours of the Children differ substantially according to the variables such as gender, child's close friends, education level of parents and the general condition of the child in lesson, There are significant differences among The Styles of Competition and some conditions such as Mother's age, child's age, child's attendance rate at school and general condition of the child in lesson. Besides, while there are affirmative relations between the sub-dimensions of task oriented competition and preservance of dominance hirearchy that belong to Children Prosocial Scale and Pre-school Competition Scale. It was found to be significant predictor for Children's styles of Competition of Prosocial Behaviours. (task oriented competition and preservance of dominance hirearchy)
