Pre-school education covers the education of children aged 3 years, 4 years and 5 years who are not in compulsory primary education. The aim of the thesis is; to contribute to the realization of fire safety measures in preschool education buildings. To identify the deficiencies in the legislation through the projects used in the study and to revise the issue of building more safe pre-school education buildings. Within the scope of the thesis, the pre-school education buildings were examined in the context of passive fire safety measures, and the performance criteria for the prevention of fire were created by utilizing national and international legislation and two projects selected from the Ministry of National Education type pre-school education projects were evaluated according to these performance criteria.
