Results: During the interviews, it was concluded that all of the participants gave importance to play and movement education due to their effects on children's development in preschool and primary school period, but due to internal and external factors such as existing programs, their competencies, existing fields of application and curriculum density, its importance is not emphasised enough. Conclusion: As a result, in order to serve the purpose of play and movement training, daily physical education should be given by the physical education teachers within the course hours with the help of some guidance books. Preschool and primary school teachers could be kept up to date by providing courses and seminars. Also physical activities class must not be used as lecture time for other class. Some issues must be solved such as; lack of sports halls, garden floors to be concrete and small class rooms. Family and teacher cooperation will be efficient, especially in pre-school and primary school education by the game-based curriculum, but with appropriate physical conditions it is understood that it can be performed in succession Key words: preschool, primary school, play, movement training
