The expectations of pre-school teachers from school managers and the level to meet teachers expectations

This research is conducted to identify how much the private and public pre-school teachers face the expectations of their management and to advice with necessary solutions. Scanning model is applied in this research. It is applied in Kırklareli. In the sampling part, random model is used. 228 teachers took part in the sampling. The questionnaire is composed of 3 parts. In the first part, there are questions which are related with teachers? personal information and, in the second part there are expressions about teachers? expectations. With the four likerd scale how much the expectations are faced is identified from the negative through the positive. In the third part, an open ended question is asked to the teachers to include their own ideas. Totally, there are 59 questions in the questionnaire. The study is composed of seven parts. In the first part introduction, in the second part literature review, in the third part methodology, in the fourth part findings, in the fifth part conclusion took place. Discussions is in the sixth part and suggesstions is in the seventh part. In the statistical solutions of the gathered data p<0,05 is shown as the meaningful solution. Some of the meaningful but the same data were not included. The result of the study shows that school administrators met their teachers? expectations mostly. What is more, we can recommend from our results, school administrators should be provided training for pre-school education and facilities of current schools should be improved.
