The analysis of the relationship between secondary school students' using imaging skills and their sportive confidence level

Introduction and Purpose: Cognitive processes like sportive imaging and sportive self confidence have been accepted to be effective implementations in developing sporter's performance. The acqusition of these abilities at an early age is important. In schools sportive activities is started during early ages via school sports. That's why, it is thought to be investigated the effect of student's imaging skills and sportive confidence level to school sports. In this study it has been aimed to determine the relationship student's, who participate in school sports, utilization of imaging skills and sportive confidence level and sportive imaging. Material and Method: A total of 710 students(16-17 years old in average, 484 boys and 226 girls) who are students in Erzincan and take part in different sport branches, participated in this study. In the study the inventory of sportive imaging, the inventory of sportive self-confidence and personal information form were used. Results were analyzed with SPSS statistical programme after they had been transferred to it. Key Words: Sportive imaging, Sportive self-confidence, School sports
