Problems which school managers face with using their authority and their relationship with level of burnout(Case of Kocaeli City)

School managers which are the most significant application area of education system have an important impact on education quality. A society needs bringing up human-resource well which is basis of society to exist. This comes to fruition ideally through education. The aim of this research is to determine problems which school managers working for public school which is related to the ministry of education in Kocaeli experience while using their power and to determine schools managers? relation to level of burnout. This research determines levels of burnout of managers who are faced with a problem about school service, worker's deeds, education and intruction deeds and student services according to emotional burnout, desensitization, personal success dimensions and total burnout. Moreover; the aim of this research is to present how problems and level of burnouts vary in this dimensions in terms of personal and professional variant.This survey consists of primary and secondary school managers who work in 2009-2010 Education year in Kocaeli. Surveys have been conveyed to all managers who can be reached in city and ıt has been created paradigm in 325 surveys. There are 114 headmasters, 211 asistant managers in 253 male and 72 female managers who join the survey. In this research it has been worked with survey norm. All datas have been collected through two scale called problems which school managers face with using their authority in their professions and their burnout inventory.The first part of the survey consists of "Personal Information Form" and the second part contains "Problems which school managers face with using their authority in their professions" and "Maslach Burnout Inventory". The datas gained in consequence of the survey are analysed with the statistic packets program of SPSS for windows 16.0. For the variable conditions such as gender, maritalstatus,clearance, period of service, frequency(f), percent(%), arithmetic average(x), standard deviation(ss), t test,analysis of unicast varians and Kruscal-Wallis test are used . In case the differentation has been found meaningful,Tukey b test is implemented to determine the source of the differentativon. In this survey, problems which school managers working in public schools face with while using their authority in their professions are investigated and it is surveyed whether level of proffessional burnout is a meaningul differantation according to the variables such as age, gender, marital status, educational status, clearance.When student services,period of service in educational works, service of the school, worker's deeds, marital status and clearance differentation are analysed it has not been seen a clear differentation but the meaningful differentations has been seen in the variables of gender and educational status. One of the important problems which school managers experience is that specification_ being used laboratory by all of classes. All these problems can result from inadequacy of instruments or deficiency of area. Moreover, in student affairs it has been faced with issue of guidance service. With the increase of importance student personality, detailed works in that area can cause some problems which managers face in their professions. Among the discovery there are two findings. According to gender variable female managers, according to marital status married managers face with some problems in using of authority. Moreover, the relation between the problems in the use of authority and level of burnout is generally low level but meaningful because it is conculeded that as the problems of the managers increases, level of burnout also increases.
