Examining the relationship between the kind of technology leadership shown by managers in schools and school success and teachers' academic optimism

This study, aims to determine the relationship the kind of technology leadership shown by managers in schools and school success and teachers' academic optimism. The sampling of this study, which is designed in relational screening model, consists of 544 teachers selected by random sampling method working in high schools in the city of Rize in the 2018-2019 academic year. In this research, to collect data, the "School Administrators' Technology Leadership Competency Scale" and "Academic Optimism Scale" was used. For the variable of school success in the study, the mean of the "Basic Proficiency Test" scores entered by the students in high schools in Rize in 2019 on a school basis was used. The data has been analyzed using SPSS program As a result of the research, it was found that there was; a positive, medium level relation has been found between the managers technology leadership and teachers academic optimism levels of the teachers; a negative, low level relation has been found between the managers technology leadership and school success; a positive, low level relation has been found between the teachers academic optimism levels and school success. In addition, it was concluded that managers technology leadership were a significant predictor of teachers academic optimism.
