Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to reveal the opinions of teachers working in preschool education institutions in Çankırı city center about Orff approach used in music activities. In the preschool period, children develop their improvisation and creativity skills with the Orff approach. Preschool teachers' knowledge of the Orff approach and their ability to practice can be beneficial for children's musical development. In this respect, the study is important in terms of presenting the opinions of preschool teachers towards Orff approach. The study was qualitative research and interview method was used. Preschool teachers working in independent kindergartens in Çankırı city center were interviewed and their opinions were determined. The data were obtained by a semi-structured interview form which was created by the researcher. After necessary analysis and analysis of the data obtained, the findings are presented. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the majority of the participants had knowledge about the Orff Approach, but did not attend any seminars, used the Orff Approach in music activities, used the Orff instruments, used their instruments in their children and improvised in music activities.
