The analyze of preschool teachers? sights of science education and its application

In this paper,it?s aimed to investigate planning and applying activities of science inclined towards science education in addition to determination of preschool teacher?s sights of science education.The sample of the study is constituted of 64 preschool teachers working in dependent primary education schools and independent kindergarden schools of ministery of education in Niğde and Bor.The data of the study eas collected by means of qualitative ways of collecting data which are observation and interview.It was asked teachers to fill a personal information form and answer to the questions of a quastionnaire related to preschool science education.Content analysis method was applied in anaizing the qualitative data gained from interviews formed as a set of data in computer. Frequency and percentage distribution in the analysis of the collected data and identification of personal information of the teachers and preschool teachers? sights of science education were counted and presented as a chart.At the end of study, preschool teachers indicated in their sights that; science education in early ages is important, the frequentlyused method in science education is experiment, but they also use methods such as drama and trip-observation and they talk to the children during the activities using question- answer technique, introduce materials, give information about the study, then implement the study.Keywords: Preschool Education, Science Education, Science Efficiencies .
