Abstract (EN)

Information Technologies become more important day by day because of the need to reach the knowledge rapidly, safely and also to produce, share and keep it. So it gives the opportunities to practice the services in lots of fields such as Education, Health, Safety, Communication, Commerce and Industry. The administrator has to use his authority effectively if he wants to make the organization effective. It is essential that an administrator must be qualified in using Information Technologies effectively besides being good at administration methods and theories and also human relations. This research aims making searches about the technological facilities schools have and the level of the use of contemporary Technologies by the administrators of education and making some recommendations. The opinions of school administrators were analyzed through the questionnaires prepared for this purpose and according to results some various recommendations were made about the technological conditions of schools and the level of the use of Information Technologies by administrators. The research contains the schools and their administrators in Kagıthane, a district in stanbul. It consists of five parts. The first part is ?The Concept of Leader and Administrator?, the second one is ?The Information Technologies?, in the third part some information is given about the methods of the research and in the fourth part, the results of research are stated. The last part consists of results of research, recommendations and discussions. In this research, some important results have been appeared and with the regard of them some recommendations are made.
