Abstract (EN)
Statistical analyses were conducted using IBM SPSS 26. Death awareness was analyzed in detail, along with its subdimensions, and the relationships of these subdimensions with the positive, negative, and depressive dimensions of psychotic experiences were examined. The findings revealed significant relationships between death awareness and psychotic experiences. Specifically, positive psychotic experiences were associated with death anxiety, while negative experiences were found to affect the dimensions of avoiding thinking about death and weakening the impact of death. Depressive psychotic experiences, on the other hand, were observed to increase the overall level of death awareness. Additionally, significant effects of personality organization subdimensions on death awareness were identified. Regression analyses demonstrated that both psychotic experiences and personality organization were significant predictors of death awareness. This study represents an important step in understanding the impact of existential concerns on individuals' mental health. The findings provide a foundation for understanding how individuals cope with death awareness and for developing therapeutic interventions tailored to these processes.
