Abstract (EN)
This study aimed to developing a scale to measure perfectionism trait of early adolescents. Content validity, construct validity and concurent validity studies were done for development process of the scale. Internal consistency and test-retest reliability calculations were done to test the reliability of the scale. For the first construct validity study a sample of 382 students took the inventory and for the second construct validity study the scale administered to 648 students. The criterion was analyzed with the corelation of the scale with Children's Depression Inventory (CDI), with State Anxiety Inventory for Children (TAIC) and with Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory (CSEI) were investigated. The test-retest reliabilities were computed using a data from a sample of 82 students who administred the scale on the occasions 4 weeks interval. Results of exploratory factor analysis (EFA) revealed that two factorial structure of the scale; Outcome of confirmatory factor analysis supported this finding. According to contents, factors named positive perfectionism and negative perfectionism. The internal consistency values, corrected item total correlation values and test- retest correlation values for subscales were found to be very high. Results of studies for criterion related validity of the scale supported validity of scale Key words: Perfectionism, Positive Perfectionism, Negative Perfectionism
