Omar Nasafi and Abu al-Fotouh Razi's interpretation methods of Quran(a comparative method)

In this research, Omar Nasafi?s commentary ?at-Tayseer fi al-Tafseer? was been compared with Abul-Fotouh Râzî?s commentary ?Ravd al-Jenaan? in terms of Quranic interpretation. Omar Nasafi who is one of the exegetes is follower of Hanafi-Maturidi line and master in the areas of Islamic Theology, Islamic Law and Exegesis. Abul-Fotouh Râzî is scholar/writer of Shiite-Persian commentary. Our study consists of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion. In introduction, information about study?s subject, aim, method and sources were given. In the first chapter, age of exegetes was described historically, socially and scientifically. Secondly; their lives, works, teachers and pupils were addressed. In addition, names of commentaries, dates when were written, volumes and topics that commentaries? introductions include were explained. In the second chapter, not only issues about history of Quran like first and last revealed verses and collection of Quran but also what exegetes tell about occassions of revelation, clear and ambiguous verses and abrogation and etc. were studied. In the third chapter, exegesis by means of Quran, Hadith and opinions of Companions and followers were examined under the section of narrated exegesis. Thoughts of exegetes about linguistics, Islamic theology, Islamic law and Islamic mysticism were taken part under the section of tafsir al-dirâyah.
