Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to prevent spinal injuries that may occur during the classical ballet and the active dance life of a dancer and to conclude the treatment method more quickly with manual therapy in possible situations. The first chapter mentions the history of ballet art, the formation of classical and modern ballet, and the development of ballet art in Turkey. In the second chapter, studies on body posture in ballet training have been observed to change the spine in this process. In the third chapter, the study, supported with visuals from world-famous ballet scenes, the training of a dancer in the fourth chapter and the duration of professional dance life, difficulties and injuries that are the physical causes and basic sources of injuries were mentioned. In the fifth chapter, the anatomical structure of the spine which forms the basis of the human body has been examined, and a dancer's education is given importance to inform on this basic structure during the initial period, with written and visual resources supported. In the sixth chapter, in the world countries where art is developed, detailed views on the treatment of injury to the dancers are given. It is generally proposed as an alternative technique-manual therapy, instead of the first-choice and scientifically-supported-physiotherapy-Methods in the event of a dancer being injured. This method, which is not very prominent in Turkey, has been thoroughly examined, and the information on the subject has been conveded, proving that the dancers ' injuries are beneficial to the healing and recycling during the treatment process. On how to apply the information shares are meticulously transferred. The last chapter includes interviews with dancers who benefit from the relevant treatment method and explain the effects of recycling.
