Abstract (EN)
Having complex structure and characteristics dependent on the age of landfill leachate is one of those wastewater difficult to treate. Leachate from young and old landfill can show different characteristics. For example, leachate from young landfill is high in biodegradeble organics. The charateristics can be effective of the treatment of leachate and is important of the selection of treatment process.In this study the treatment of pre-treatment leachates in submerged membrane bıoreactor investigated. It is observed from this study that submerged membrane bıoreactor is very effective and productive system to treat the leachates.
