Abstract (EN)

If our time criticises the concept of dialectic, it seems however necessary toall kind of philosophical thought. At the beginning of philosophy it is elaborated bythe greeks who considered it as a kind of struggle (eristic). Plato transformed it byrequiring a form of rationality and by ordering it toward the justice. For Aristoteles itallows to find the conflict and the contradictions of our arguements. For the stoïciensit is similar to the logical operations. When the German idealists use the same term, it means a kind of thepossibilty of the contradictions and illusions ( Kant) but Fichte thinks that as ahypothesis it leads the mind through the absolute knowledge. Schleirmacherestablishes the new science of hermeneutic by putting the dialectic between thefeeling of God and the language in general. Schelling identifies the mind and thenature by this concept. For Hegel the process of the whole universe passes by somemoments which are called dialectics because it is the contradiction and its resolutionwhich give birth to them.In the section » essence » of his logic, Hegel achieves a movement of theGerman philosophy by identifying the concept of determination and the concept ofreflexion in fact the metaphysic of Aristoteles had started by separating them.By emphasizing the subjectivity and the identity, these philosophes havefinished a certain form of thinking but as soon as we will require these concepts wewill need dialectic.
