The contributions of Ord.Prof.Dr.Ahmet Süheyl Ünver to the education of Turkish decoration art

IIIABSTRACTIn this research, it has been tried to determine the contributions ofOrd.Prof.Dr.Ahmet Süheyl Ünver to the education of Turkish decoration art. The lifeof the artist, his Works, his personality and his contributions to the Turkishdecoration art education have been tried to examined and the interview questions thathad been prepared through this aim, have been applied primarily to his daughterGülbün Masera and to 20 of his students.In the study which consists of four chapters, the first chapter give detailedinformation about the aim and the significance of the problem and the quantities andlimits of the issue has been explained as elements.In the seconds chapter, the method of the research has been described. Inadditions, by identifying the space of the research and the exemplifying, it has beenfocused on the technique of data collecting. Literature scanning has been done bygoing to libraries. The interview questions have been prepared and interviews havebeen carried out with the students of Suheyl Ünver, whom could be foundThe third chapter is consisted of the acknowledgements about the artist hasbeen presented in two sub-parts. The first sub-part is the information that has beenobtained from the sources which gives information about Süheyl Ünver?s life, hisworks, his personality, the praises that have been told about him and the view ofSüheyl Ünver about the Turkish decoration that has been obtained by the interviewswhich have been done with his daughter and students. Moreover, in this part, it hasbeen mostly tired to give place to the pictures, miniature and gilding works of him.Finally, in the fourth chapter, this results of the research have beendescribed and the necessary suggestions have been suggested through the obtainedresults.IVThe sources that had been used during the research have been presented inthe title of ?bibliography?.In the addition part, the interview questions which have been asked todaughter and the students of Süheyl Ünver have been presented, and also thebibliographic identities of these people have taken place in the additional part.
