Abstract (EN)
Organ/tissue transplantations are performed as a treatment form which has no alternetive in chronic organ failure illnesses and composit tissue losses. The aim of this study is to recearch the factors which affect the inadeguate organ/tissue donations that affect the development of organ/tissue transplantations and to evaluate the present position of organ/tissue donations and transplantations in Turkey. This study is planned in three parts.İn the first part, main descriptions and development process is coveraged. İn the second part, legal regulations related to organ and tissue transplantations are researched. İn the third part, facters which affect organ and tissue donation and statistics of organ/tissue donation and transplantation levels in Turkey are coveraged. This study is prepared in the benefit of historian method.İn this method frame, resource scan method is based; besides this, Professional experiences are benefitted. Despite the fast development, organ and tissue transplantations are not in the wanted level. İn our country, inadeguecy of organ/tissue donations cause the increase of the number of patients who are registered in the national waiting list for organ/tissue transplantation and the death of many of them without finding organ.The most important factor which cause the inadeguecy of organ/tissue donation is not to be able to use organs because of not being able to get approval from relatives of patients whose brain deaths have occured.
