Özet (EN)
Today, organ and tissue transplantation are seen as an opportunity for many chronic patients to regain their former healthy lives and give hope to patients and their relatives waiting for transplantation. Although there are some problems in organ transplantation in Turkey, one of them is the administrative problems in the organ transplantation process. Predicting how many transport operations will take place in the future will help prevent these administrative problems. Logistics activities at this stage must be carried out with great care since the transported organ has a direct effect on increasing the life and quality of life of people. In addition, it is seen that transplantation logistics is a new concept in Turkey and there are very few studies. In this study, the concept of transplantation logistics, which can be expressed as a type of cold chain logistics that includes the forward and reverse movement of organs, relevant personnel, necessary materials and information between the target points, the protection and handling of organs using appropriate equipment, and the planning and coordination of all this process It is aimed to be examined. In addition, the demand forecasting application, which is one of the most important logistics activities, aims to identify and interpret the expected number of transport operations for 2020. In line with this purpose, the provisions of the legislation regarding logistics processes and the limited number of written sources, in the light of the literature information, were interviewed with the relevant personnel, especially the organ transplant coordinator, working in the Organ Transplant Polyclinic of SDU Research and Application Hospital. Using the interview technique, detailed information was obtained about the process and the findings obtained were interpreted. By using ARIMA (Box-Jenkins) method, the number of organ transplants in 2020 was tried to be estimated. It was concluded that during the Covid19 process in Turkey, organ transplants decreased by approximately %36.
