Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out in 2020-2021 at B.U.Ü Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture, with the aim of determining the utilizability of farm manure (FM), enriched environment (EE), organic peat (P) and zeolite (Z) as organic seedling growing mediums and then determining the performance of seedlings in cultivation. Organic and conventionally grown eggplant, tomato and pepper seedlings; were grown in media obtained from various ratios of mixtures of farm manure, enriched environment, organic peat, zeolite (FM+T (1:1), FM+Z (3:1), T+Z (3:1), EE+T (1:3), EE+Z (3:1), FM+T+Z (1:2:1), EE+T+Z (1:2:1)). The effects of these various media on seedling and plant development, yield values, fruit quality were investigated in this study. As a result of seedling production, EE+T medium gave better results than conventional in the 1st and 2nd years. Especially in eggplant, EE+T medium gave especially good results, while in tomato it was FM+T+Z medium in the 1st year, EE+T+Z medium in the 2nd year. In pepper, FM+T+Z medium in the 1st year and EE+T medium in the 2nd year gave better results than the conventional. As a result of plant production, the highest plant height- diameter were determined in the eggplant plant in the 1st year is with EE+T medium and in the 2nd year is with T+Z medium. The positive effect of the FM+T environment was remarkable throughout the stem diameter. The highest plant height, diameter were observed in the 1st year in the tomato plant, is with FM+Z environment and in the 2nd year is with EE+Z environment. The highest plant height- diameter, stem diameter were determined in the conventional medium in the 1st and 2nd years of the pepper plant. While the highest yield in eggplant was determined in FM+T+Z environment in the 1st year, it was determined in the T+Z environment in the 2nd year. The highest yield was determined in the 1st and 2nd years of tomato in FM+T medium. In pepper, the highest yield was seen in EE+T+Z medium in the 1st year and in the EE+T medium in the 2nd year. Although the effect of the environment on all quality parameters measured in fruits, varies according to the species, years, and the condition of the plots, it was found to be significant in a general manner. In the results of working; considering the effects of environments on seedling, plant, fruit, quality parameters, EE+T medium gave better results than conventional medium in general. Especially in eggplant, pepper, EE+T medium, in tomato EE+Z medium gave better results than conventional medium.
