Abstract (EN)

In this study; the effect of the organic and inorganic fertilizer applications on yield and quality of anise (JPimpinella anisum L.) type and ecotypes tried was conducted. This study was conducted in field of Adnan Menderes University Agricultural Faculty Field Crops Department with regard to split plots design with three repeatations in 2005. Three different anise ecotypes called with different names based on production location and one certificated type which were grown in Turkey and six different fertilizers were used. On main plots control, inorganic fertilizer, stable manure, organic fertilizer, inorganic fertilizer x organic fertilizer and inorganic fertilizer x stable manure combination was conducted. On subplots Çeşme, Fethiye (Seki) and Denizli (Acıpayam) ecotypes and seeds which belong to Gölhisar type were sowed. At the end of this study; in anise plant that the highest seed yield (1 14.5 kg/da) with inorganic fertilizer from Gölhisar type also the lowest seed yield (30.4 kg/da) with control application from Denizli ecotype was determined. In anise plant that the highest essential oil yield (% 1.863) was obtained from Çeşme ecotype with inorganic x organic fertilizer application from Çeşme ecotype but the lowest essential oil yield (1.267%) was determined for Gölhisar in control application. Trans-anethol ratio which is the most important component of essential oil varied between 97.50 % and 98.49 %. We were determined the fact that essential oil yield increased in organic fertilizer application and organic- inorganic fertilizer combination, but essential oil components weren't effected from fertilizer applications. Key words: Anise, Pimpinella anisum L., Organic fertilizer, Inorganic x organic fertilizer combination, Essential oil.
