Abstract (EN)
Organic farming differs from other farming systems in a number of ways. It favours renewable resources and recycling, returning to the soil the nutrients found in waste products. Organic farming respect the environment?s own system for controlling pests and disease in raising crops and livestock and avoids the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilisers, growth hormones, antibiotics or gene manipulation. Instead, organic farmers use a range of techniques that help sustain ecosystems and reduce pollution. Within this framework, we want to examine and this research includes the influences of consumer preferences in attribute of organic foods, price and type of organic food decision making proces. As methodology focus group studies and a questionnaire on consumers who use and eat organics was utilized in collecting the data used in the study. Consumer?s attributes effects show differences by type of product and prices. Conssumers are effected by recommondation and Internet. Consumers who choose to go organic may do so for many reasons: because they think it tastes better, they believe that it?s safer, more nutritious, better for the environment or better for animal welfare. Or perhaps simply because it?s more 'natural'.
