202 Summary This thesis under the name of "the management of the organizational stress and a research on the medium managers who live araund Izmir" includes the advices about the workers, in their workplaces, that face factors creating stress within the organizational period and advices about their management. It is very difficult to say that the safety, effectiveness and productiveness of the organization depends on the results of the organization. Within the period of achieving the goals of the organization, the safety, effectiveness and productiveness of the work is possible only when the workers are both physically and mentally healthy. From this point the "the management of the organizational stress must be one of the most important issues to be deaied with. It should not be forgotten that only people who are respected could create values. The thesis under the name of "the management of the organizational stress and a research on the medium managers who live araund Izmir" consists of three parts: In the first part the notion of stress, its identification, its models, the types ot stress, the causes of stress and the reaction against it are investigated. Then to notion of personality, personal needs, personal differences, the types of behavior, personal competence will be studied. In the second part under the name of organizational stress and its management first the notion of organizational health and its criterion will be examined, then the factors that play role in organizational stress and advices about management will be presented, also the work in the organizations! and the stress in the organizations, the results will be observed. In the third part the results of on anket, that is made on mid-level managers, will be tested and its consequences will be interpreted. Lastly a conclusion is presented.
