Abstract (EN)
In this study, the effect of employees' perception of organizational justice, and organizational commitment attitudes on their organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) are examined. In addition to this, organizational subcultures are investigated in order to better understand these relations within the organizational cultıure context. The data for this study was collected, on a voluntary basis, from the 396 employees of 513 employees working for İskenderun Enerji Üretim ve Ticaret A.Ş. in the İSKEN Power Plant. Research results, firstly, suggest that procedural justice and affective commitment are positively associated with OCB to the organization (OCBO). Results also suggest that affective commitment partially mediates the relationship between the procedural justice and the OCBO. Results, lastly, suggest that among the two organizational subculture groups, namely the professional culture and formal culture subgroups, the employees in the first group report higher levels of procedural justice, affective commitment, and organizational citizenship behavior towards the organization. Thus, it is recommended that OCB studies should be interpreted within the organizational culture context.
