Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the effects of organizational culture and organizational climate on organizational commitment. In this context, organizational culture and organizational climate were considered as independent variables and their effects on organizational commitment, which were determined as dependent variables, were investigated. The resarch was carried out in Istanbul in the period of 01/05/2021 – 15/05/2021 with the participation of 442 individuals working in finance, banking and insurance sector. Research data was obtained through a questionnaire which consists personal information form, Organizational Culture Scale, Organizational Climate Scale and Organizational Commitment Scale. Research The collected data was tested by using SPSS 24.0 Statistics Program. In the analysis descriptive statistics and factor, reliability, correlation and simple linear regression analysis were applied. According to the results of the research, the organizational culture perceptions of the employees are strong, their organizational climate perceptions are positive and their organizational commitment level is high. Organizational culture has a significant and positive effect on organizational commitment, emotional commitment and normative commitment of employees, but it does not have any significant effect on continuance commitment. Besides that the organizational climate has a significant and positive effect on the organizational commitment and sub dimensions. In the light of the results obtained in the research, some suggestions were made for practitioners and researchers.
