Abstract (EN)

VI ABSTRACT Culture can be defined as the aggregate of tangible an intangible values of societies which were inherited from their histories. Organizational culture is the entire of basic values, symbols and applications which was shared by the members of an organization or a group. Job satisfaction is the positive or negative feelings of employees through their jobs. Adoption of organizational culture by the employees enables them to feel themselves important within the organization and identify their goals with those of the company. The aim of this research is to investigate the effect of organizational culture over job satisfaction. This research was conducted at Anatolia Seramik A.Ş. The questionnaire technique was employed in this research. Reliability test, factor analysis and correlation tests were performed. The main hypothesis of this research is the existence of a positive relationship between organizational culture and job satisfaction. Three sub-factors of both organizational culture and job satisfaction were found at the end of factor analysis. The sub-factors of organizational culture are, organizational climate, top level management and traditions. The sub-factors of job satisfaction are; rewarding, individual satisfaction and working environment. The correlation tests were performed among sub-factors. As the result of the analysis performed, our main hypothesis was not fully accepted but it was accepted to a great extend. The results were demonstrated and suggestions were made.
