Abstract (EN)

In order to achieve determined targets, organizations have to organize employees to work in accordance with others considering the targets of the organizations. Employees must share same values system, must aim to reach same targets and must behave in accordance with other employees. In order to establish that kind of an environment, organizational culture must be established considering targets of the organization. Organizational culture is the climate in the organization established using rules, symbols and similar tools. That culture shapes attitudes and behaviors of employees. Leaders have a great role at establishing, preserving and changing organizational culture. Two of the most important properties of leaders are shaping behaviors of people and motivating them to reach shared targets. At that point, the leader adopts some kinds of leadership styles such as authorial, democratic or laissez faire leadership styles. Considering all those, it can be claimed that there is an interaction between organizational culture and leadership styles. The aim of the study is evaluating effects of organizational culture on leadership perception. In order to reach that aim, a detailed literature review is held and descriptive and relational survey model is applied. 400 participants took place at the study. 45 percent of the participants were men and 55 percent of the participants were women. At the end of the study, it has been seen that there is a positive relationship between organizational culture and leadership perception with a degree of 0,466. Taking that result into account, it can be claimed that the more organizational culture is accepted, the more leadership perception is established.
