Abstract (EN)

Although organizations are structured and run by people, in the mean time they are structured to meet people's needs. That's why organizations are social beings, which are envisaged and designed as coordinately structured activity systems, and they are continuously in touch with their environment. From the simplest to the most complicated all organizations need a structure. Organi-zation structure provides a basis for all the activities of the organization. Where the soundness of this basis increases the success of the organization, an unsound basis may pose a threat to the existence of the organization. Internal communication holds importance on the interdepartmental effectiveness. Communication problems may cause deformation on both internal and external rela-tions. Maintaining the effectiveness of internal communication would provide a har-monious atmosphere for the departments to work and facilitate the departments to reach the organization goals. In this research, the organization structure's effects on the organizational communi-cation are being analyzed. In this regard firstly the literature on organization structure and organizational communication has been scanned and presented. Secondly the field application has been held by conveying a related survey in a public institution and the results of the survey have been analyzed.
