Performance evaluation in organisations and an application in police vocational schools

In this study, by reviewing the literatüre in a theoretical framework about öne of the most important areas of daily life, the performance evaluation, it is intended to study the performance evaluation of the trainers of the Poliçe Vocational Schools who are the sources of poliçe offıcers for the Turkish National Poliçe. The information in the theory section was reached by reviewing the literatüre from the university libraries which is necessary for understanding the human resource management and its performance evaluation In the light of the literatüre in the fıled, in the fırst and second chapter,the performance evaluation term, the importance of performance evaluation, the necessity of performance evaluation and its benefıts, the areas that performance evaluation is used, the specifıcations that a performance evaluation needs to have, the process of performance evaluation, interior and exterior factors that affect performance evaluation, performance evaluation methods, the errors that come across when evaluating the performance and the education of those who evaluate the performance issues are studied. In the third chapter, performance evaluation application models have been studied. Here, the evaluation of trainer's performance, factors that affect their performance and stages of trainers' performance evaluation have been studied. In the fourth chapter, survey results of performance evaluation, which is an important factor in human resource management, of the trainers of Poliçe Vocational Schools who are the main sources of poliçe offıcers for Turkish National Poliçe, are evaluated. In the final chapter, the analysis of data is made and the policies that needs to be created are mentioned. Keywords: Performance Evaluation, Poliçe Vocational Schools, Human Resource Managment
