In order to be able to sustain competition in today's market environment, organizations need to constantly renew themselves, introduce new products and functionalities. These products, which have different purposes and durations, can be reached in project management discipline. Results can be achieved by the active involvement of the team, which is the most important factor in achieving success. This thesis is prepared with the aim of examining the effect of project management approaches on the participation of employees in management activities. In the first part, information about project management and framework was given. In the second part, the information areas in the classical project management method and related processes under them are investigated. The third part is about the agile project management approach and the most common methods, Scrum and Kanban. The fourth chapter is the examination of the two most common methods in project management, classical method and agile method with respect to their influence on the participation of employees into project management decisions. For this purpose, a questionnaire applied to the team members in the software sector was analyzed and the correlations detected were explained.
