Abstract (EN)
It is essential to know the interests, and desires of those who are working in the education sector for the improvement of both effectiveness and efficiency of educational system through the evaluation of teacher?s? job positions and job tasks. This study aims at understanding the nature of mutual relationships between the concepts of organizational justice, person-organization fit, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment regarding the teachers who are working in education industry. The study covers both the teachers and managers of both governmental and privately owned educational institutions. The measurement instruments were distributed to all of the teachers, and 721 of 851 responded promptly from 45 institutions at Pendik province of İstanbul. Four different measurement devices were employed (organizational committment questionnaire developed by Allan-Meyer; organizational justice quetionnaire developed by Moorman; general level job satisfaction questionnaire developed by Chatman, and person-organization fit questionnaire developed by Cable nad Judge) to collect data from the respondents. Data analysis procedures were made by SPSS (Version: 15.0) by means of running different statistical methods and techniques such as Pearson correlation, independent t-tests, ANOVA and regression analyses. The findings of the study which were in line with the existing theoretical body of knowledge, and were indicated the importance of organizational justice, the degree of fit between personal and organizational values. All of the concepts were correlated with each other which indicated the functional importance of the perception of ?fairness? regarding implementation of business decisions and procedures. The practical side of the study is two folds one of which is about the employment of educational workers is of importance in relation to the fit between person and organization (organizational culture), and second is about the managers regarding creation of a notion of fairness in the application of business processes.
