Abstract (EN)
The main prupose of this thesis is to give theoritetical information about organisational commitment and motivation as well as to define the relationaship between the terms in an empirical study in a firm. In this context the first part of this study consists of the organisational commitmentterm in details. The issues written in this partare the definition, the importance, the factors and the consequences of organisational commitment. This part also includes the different approaches of organisational commitment. The second part of the study is related to the motivation term in details about its definition, importance and its incentives. It is also written about the different theories of motivation. The third part of the study includes an empirical study. It is used a questionnaire method that consists of three parts. The first part includes questions about the demographic information of the participants. The second part includes statements that measure affective, continuance and normative commitment. And the third part includes statements that measure intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. The results of the study were analized by using the statistical program SPSS 19. According to this results there ara high levels of organisational commitment and motivation in the firm. The affective, continuance and normative commitment as well as intrinsic and extrinsic motivation are in high levels. It is made the non-parametric Spearman Correlation test and according to its result it was found a significant, positive and average correlation between organisational commitment and motivation.
