Abstract (EN)

This study examines the relationship between organizational silence, burnout, and job performance. The main objective of the research is to reveal the effects of organizational silence and burnout on job performance among personnel working in the radiology clinics of city hospitals. The research was conducted with 254 participants selected from approximately 700 employees working in the radiology clinics of three city hospitals operating in Istanbul. Convenience sampling was used to determine participants, and data were collected through a questionnaire. The data were processed and analyzed using the SPSS program. The findings support that organizational silence and burnout have a partially significant effect on job performance. It was found that defensive silence, one of the dimensions of organizational silence, had a significant negative effect on job performance, while the personal accomplishment dimension of burnout had a significant positive effect. The study is expected to contribute to practitioners by identifying psychosocial factors such as organizational silence and burnout that negatively affect employee job performance, and by guiding the development of effective intervention strategies targeting these factors. Furthermore, it is anticipated that the study will provide researchers with a theoretical and empirical basis for examining the effects of these variables on job performance in greater depth.
