Abstract (EN)

As a result of development and change, one of essential needs of the establishments nowadays is having employees providing desired organizational commitment. Organizational commitment can be evaluated as the combination of employees' approaches – attitudes to their establishments. Positive organizational commitment makes effectiveness and success of the establishments better while negative commitments may cause several disadvantages. It is possible to analyze this situation in detail from the perspective of both employees and establishments. It should be appreciated that positive or negative organizational commitment will cause many returns in micro and macro levels for individuals, establishments and economical – public order. Because of possible destructive results of negative attitudes, there have been many studies for eliminating such attitudes. At this point, organizational cynism, which is negative attitude by employees shown against the establishment as a defensive approach, has taken part in the literature. In the context of the explanations, objective of this thesis study is to determine reasons of organizational cynism and design – develop several strategies against that. For this purpose, a survey study evaluating some elements related to organizational commitment and organizational cynism has been applied to 345 employees. At this point, factor analysis has been applied to cynism and organizational commitment scales, the related elements have been evaluated in this way. The obtained evaluation results have shown that the related elements are effective on the organizational cynism.
