Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to determine the relationship between organisational stress and organisational silence levels of sport organisation employees. The sample of the study consisted of 308 male and female sports organisation employees in a state institution. A questionnaire consisting of three parts: demographic information, organisational stress scale, organisational silence scale was used as a data collection tool. This research was conducted on the basis of descriptive model from quantitative research methods. In the analysis of the data, in addition to descriptive statistics such as arithmetic mean, standard deviation and frequency/percentage, t-test for pairwise comparisons, one-way multivariate analysis of variance test for multiple comparisons and correlation test were applied considering the normal distribution. It was found that male employees were at a high level in the organisational stress levels of sport organisation employees. In our study, it was found that gender was higher in opportunistic silence behaviour among sports organisation employees than male employees. In marital status, opportunistic silence behaviour was found to be higher in single employees. In our study, it was found that social support, workload, skill use and decision-making attitudes of sport organisation employees who exercised in organisational stress levels were higher. It shows that there is no significant difference in organisational silence attitudes according to exercise status. According to the results of the study, a low level positive significant relationship was found between organisational stress and organisational silence of sport organisation employees. As a result, it was determined that the organisational stress and organisational silence levels of the employees in sport organisations were at medium level. It was determined that the employees who take responsibility in organisations have high levels of organisational stress and organisational silence.
