Özet (EN)

The degradation, which is the result of this superficial flow in the road platform superstructure, is an important factor that affects the safe course and safety of the vehicles. This situation requires that every pavement of the forest roads be stable. Within the scope of the study, Golyaka Forest Management Directorate (Duzce), 5.9 km, 2 km upper structure, which is open to the use of vehicles for production and recreational, and the first 200-meter section of the 318-coded Type B forest road which is to be renewed in August 2017 were selected. The aim of this study is to determine the degradation (wearing, accumulation) rate of the surface and volumetric basement of the pavement of forest road by UAV. According to the results of the study; 2017 September and 2018 November flight data were compared and fourteen months (September 2017 - November 2018 periods) periodical analysis of total wearing of -1602.76 m2 (mean -114.48 m2/month – (-3.82) m2/day) and 546.34 m2 (mean 39.02 m2/month – 1,30 m2/day) accumulation were determined. In addition to this, volumetric degradation in the examination; total accumulation of 18.75 m3 (mean 1.34 m3/month – 0.05 m3/day) and -62.15 m3 (mean -4.44 m3/month – (-0.15) m3/day) wearing was determined. According to these results; it was determined that the surface and the volumetric amount of degradation varied in time. In conclusion, this study demonstrated the usefulness of UAVs in monitoring and evaluating the road superstructure.
