Forestry practices of forest production activities in our country are still using traditional methods. Forest transportation planning prepared taking into account the principles of reduced impact logging have not been carried out yet. In this study, damages on residual trees, younger generation, soil and logs, activities done without reduced impact logging transport planning will be determined at Ilgaz Forest Management Directorate, Yenice Forest Sub-District, in 2010-2011, with the traditional harvesting methods.This study was conducted for the environmental damage of forestry production activities; four separate pane in the stands of three different type of sub-divisions with a total of thirty samples took place in the field. It has been identified as 20 % of the damage on the remaining trees, 16 % of youth, 7% of made of raw wood material and soil compaction rate two-fold.Keywords: Harvesting, Environmental damages, Forestry
