The adaptation of historical journey of weaving to artistic textiles with a modern interpretation

Stages of knitting from past to present, material properties of hand knitting and machine knitting, obtaining (cotton, wool, linen, hemp, artificial fibers), production methods, areas of use, techniques, researched, documents were obtained and supported with visuals. The phases of the knitting were investigated, the documents were obtained, supported with the visuals, the hand machines and knitting techniques used in the workshops were applied and the visuals of the results were documented and the application by using the knitting together was made. Traditional knitted features were explored, documented, divided into classes and applied to create an infrastructure for artistic works.
