Abstract (EN)
Applying the use of biometric characteristics for identification is increasingly showing itself as a viable idea. Each person has their own characteristics and these differ from the rest of the people. For example, there is no one with the same voice, with the same fingerprint or with exactly identical eyes. Even between twin brothers, there are differences, which makes biometric measurements an excellent reliable means of identification yet the biometric identification process, whatever the characteristic to be used, follows the following model: capture of a biometric sample of data, extraction of characteristics and finally the comparison. The capture consists of acquiring a sample of this characteristic. The feature extraction phase is the phase where properties are used to create a biometric signature. Finally, it is in the comparison phase that the final result is obtained in this paper we present an IRIS recognition system using the features of the iris and a classification scheme.
