Abstract (EN)
This study, starting with the identification of the drilling data obtained in the study area as to provide a standard database with geographical accuracy, is the basis of a research integrity to be started for potential coal basins by evaluating paleogeographic, lithological and geomorphologic data. For these areas that are predicted as probable coal basin by the methods of "Overlay Analysis" and "Density Analysis" from the "Geographical Information Systems" analysis in arguments light, a community of basins has been formed by taking advantage of the obtained soundings. It is aimed to digitize the possible coal basins in Turkey and turn them into working basins in digital environment, thus revealing their economic potential. This method, which will provide the necessary analysis by transferring the existing information to the digital medium, will enable the use of the related model of the core database for the national platforms and the study for the coal will provide a planned research method for the underground wealth resources.
