Abstract (EN)
At master thesis titled "From Central Asia to Nowadays: Felt Furnishing of Tents at Turks" importance and place of felt art, tent life and tents‟ interior furnishing at Turkish culture from past to nowadays was explained. Felt‟s finding was researched and process of historical development of felt art from Central Asia to nowadays was examined. Furthermore, the usage areas of felt at tent culture were introduced. The tools and materials used in making felt, as well as the applied methods; colours, patterns, and designs specific to the region were examined, and considering traditional values and in combination with various methods, it was observed that felt was intensively used inside and outside of tents, in clothes and for daily needs
