Özet (EN)
It is known that the "Sea Tribes", which brought the end of the Bronze Age, in the light of the written documents that have been found, created great chaos in Greece, Thrace, Anatolia, Egypt and Mesopotamia. Socio-cultural, politically and economically, this event, which caused a great influence, enabled the formation of the Iron Age. But in the Middle Euphrates region, there is very little archaeological material and written documentation about how this chaos shaped the Iron Age and how it affected it. In addition, the accuracy of written documents giving information about the Iron Age of the region is a controversial issue. The mobility or migration wave in this geographical area has led to the collapse and destruction of large, sheltered settlements along with rural settlements. As a result of the archaeological excavations, the fire layers reached at the centers within the borders of the Middle Euphrates region confirm this. But this chaos environment has provided a new geopolitical order for the Iron Age and a model of urbanization. In detail, a detailed study has been conducted on the extent to which these developments in our region have manifested themselves. Within the scope of the thesis, it has been tried to analyze under the main headings how the geographical and strategic factors in the Iron Age have socio-cultural, economic, political and political influence on the region.
