Evolotion of clothing and beautification styling (Daily and chic) of working and nonworking women within the middle income group

Abstract (EN)

In this study, in Turkey the affects of the variables (social media, social environment, shopping locations) in the social lives of working and nonworking women to their participation to common social events (weddings, engagement and bachelorette parties i.e. traditional henna nights, celebration and mourning days) are being researched. The study's sampling group consists of, 42 working and 42 nonworking women participants in the age range of 25 to 50 living in the middle income level who are residented in Bursa's Beşevler and İstanbul?s Bakırköy counties between the years 2011-2013. The datas obtained from the single screening model compliant survey results of the participants are evaluated by SPSS program, and are taken into consideration within the scope of the purpose, importance, cognitive-theoretical outlines of the study. The obtained indications composed within the study are represented as ?The study towards examining the working and nonworking women's clothing and beautification? and are evaluated in detail. According to the results of this survey within the scope of the study, in order to analyze the social life differences and the affects of these differences to their clothing and beautification, no significant difference between working and nonworking women's social lives is attained. However working women prefer to attend to social events with a smart casual style of clothing, on the other hand nonworking women prefer to attend to these events in a chic style of clothing.
