Internet oriented sensor card design and manufacturing for intermediate and advanced robotic coding trainings

Nowadays, digital transformation studies are being initiated in technology. In addition to the fact that these studies have been carried out in all areas from industry to education, an essential component used in their construction is the "Internet of Things" subject. However, when the literature is examined, it is seen that this topic is primarily used in industrial fields. The growth of the new generation that grows up with the Internet without thoroughly learning the Internet will cause them to have more difficulty in their business lives. When students receive training in software and electronics at a young age, they will be able to develop projects in various fields such as aerospace, defense industry and space technologies, especially robotics, the future technology. In this study, a training kit combining the topic of robotic coding with its high level version; i.e. the Internet of Things, was designed and manufactured together with its case. The sensors and circuit elements to be used were determined taking into account the needs in the market and are different from their counterparts; it has been selected to be modular, user-friendly and able to contribute to the development of children. In this way, it is aimed that the users learn automation, communication, electronics and robotics topics as a basis. The designed card is an electronic card that has built-in wireless connections and houses sensors to be used with a dual-core microprocessor with processing power. It can decode the algorithm installed inside, communicating both among themselves and with any device that has an internet connection. Firstly, the electronic card was designed and manufactured and then its outer shell was manufactured. Finally, the test software of the hardware-completed card was installed into the device, and its production was completed.
