Comparing the level of stress between male and female administrators who work in secondary schools

This study has been done in order to compare the stress levels of male and female directors who work at secondary schools. The study test measurement has been applied to male and female secondary school directors who work in the European districts of Beşiktaş, Zeytinburnu and Esenler of Istanbul. The data, which have been obtained in this research,have been analysed in the SPSS program and thus the results have been reached.In this research, the stress level differences of male and female directors,who work at secondary schools,have been tried to measured by taking into consideration the factors such as their sexes,ages,education levels,their positions in the schools,experience levels as directors,how many years spent at their present schools,the number of their students,the type of their schools,the type of the education and department varieties.While doing this research,the schools have been visited and the questionnarie has been applied to the directors.The questionarie of the comparison of the stress levels of the male and female directors, who work at secondary schools,consists of four subfactors. The data have been interpreted by doing percentage,t-test,Anova( one way variety analayse) and scheffer test.This study has shown some results such as female directors,in comparison to male directors,are affected by events more quickly,are more impatient,intolerant to failures and have more stress with the advance of their ages.
