Abstract (EN)

In this study, dynamic characters that include natural frequencies and mode shapes of structural deformation of emergency exit door of a transport aircraft were investigeted. The door structure is modeled as an open cylindrical shell stiffened evenly spaced beams with longitudinal and circumferential directions. The analytical solution is obtained with the classical energy method by adapting the Rayleigh-Ritz procedure that gives approximate result. The beam vibration functions approximating longitudinal and circumferential modal components for clamped condition were used. The results of analytical methods for open shell structure with the results of previous studies and the results of the finite element method were compared and were observed to be compatible with each other. In shells supported by beams (stiffened shell), effect of stiffeners on the energy of system were made by smeared out method and analytical results and finite element results were compared. At the end of the study, aspect ratio (a/b), thickness, radius of the shell, material properties of shell and stiffeners and geometrical properties of stiffeners were obtained the results of effects on natural frequency and mode shapes and these results were interpreted in terms of the design of EED.Key Words : Emergency Exit Door , Free Vibration of Open Curved Stiffened Shell
