Accordingly, the research has been modelled on the experimental design with pre test ? final test controlling group. The research was conducted by the 40 students of the 10th class in 2010-2011 Academic Year. Within the duration of two weeks, together with the students existing in the experimental group of the research (n=20), illumination art was told, they were given the studying sheets, and they were asked to obey the instructions in the sheets, and to read the studying sheets. Beside, lesson was taught through the classical methods together with the controlling group (n=20) students. The data to get used in the research has been obtained by using the success test of illumination art. While analyzing the data, the test for the independent groups and dependent groups has been used.At the results obtained by analyzing the data, it has been understood that the success of the students in the experimental group has increased at the end of the application process of illumination art with the studying sheets, and furthermore, it has been observed that this increase is higher than the controlling group. Beside, the increase at the points that the students in the controlling group got from the achievement test of Illumination Art has been found out four times higher than the control group.
