Analaysis of the secondary school students's style of coping with stres, locus of control and psychological resilience

Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is to analaysıs of the secondary school students's Style Of Coping With Stress, locus of control and psychological resilience. A total of 482 students, 242 girls and 240 boys, participated in the research. The Scales Of Stress Coping Styles (SBTO) for measure the participants' styles of coping with stress, The Rotter Internal-Externalcontrol Scale (RIDKO) for measure their the Locus Of Control, The Adolscent Psychological Resilience (EPSS) for measure their psychological resilience, and A Personal İnformation (RDI) form was used to obtain information about them. In the analaysis of the data,T-est, One-Way ANOVA and Pearson Correlation Test were applied. According to the results of the research, the optimistic approach to the ways of coping with stress is more favored by males and the desperate approach by girls. The approach to apply social support styles is higher for participants whose mothers education at the university level. Self-confident styles approach is less for participants whose father's educational level is not literate. EPDO compliance approach is higher in boys, is less for participants whose mother's education level is not literate. The participant's peer support approach whose father's education at high school is lower than the participants whose father's education at primary school level.
